Snowbee Top Rod Competition April 11th - Kennick Bank

Today was Round 1 of the Snowbee Top Rod competition 2021 at Kennick.

Weather was cold at the start of the day with a ground frost and a cold Northerly wind, when the sun came up the temperature got up to a chilly 8 degs.

11 anglers made the trip to Kennick and Tom Hendy was doing takeaway coffees on arrival.

The South West Fishing For Life Ladies were also on the water today and caught fish.

11 anglers caught a total of 52 fish for a bag weight of 115lbs 1.5oz

Fish were caught in all areas of the Lake and best tactics were Intermediates or DI3 lines with Nomads, Blobs and Damsels.

9 anglers caught their 5 fish limit.

Best fish of the day was 2lbs 12.5oz caught by Alec Hoare.

Average catch 4.72

Average weight 2.21lbs
