Round 6 of the Snowbee Top Rod 2020 was at Wimbleball on Exmoor, after an initial damp start on the drive up the clouds soon passed and the sun came out.
Wind was a light to moderate Northerly, temperature around 20 degrees and 9 anglers left the boat pontoon by 0930.
9 anglers caught 12 fish for a bag weight of 30.79LBS.
Average catch 1.33, average weight was 2.56LBS.
Best fish of the day went to Darren Penfold of Liverton with one of 4LBS 1OZ on his very first cast of the day!
4 anglers failed to catch any fish.
Fish were taken in all areas of the Reservoir but Ruggs and Cowmoor were the most productive areas with Diawl Bachs on a floater or orange blobs on an intermediate line being the best tactics.
