Snowbee Top Rod Competition April 12th - Wimbleball Boat

We were at Wimbleball today for Round 3 of the Snowbee Top Rod event.
Wimbleball is high up on Exmoor near Brompton Regis and at 520 acres was full.
After a Brewers Fayre breakfast in Exeter 14 anglers made the trip.
We were met by Mark Underhill at the lake who sorted out the boats and life jackets for us and made sure all 7 boats left the boat dock by 0930.
Fishing was from 0930 - 1700 with the weigh in at 1730.
Weather was a chilly 9 degrees with moderate WSW winds and some heavy hail showers during the day with some sunshine too.
14 anglers caught 34 fish for a bag weight of 98lbs 7oz
Average catch 2.43
Average weight 2.9lbs
2 anglers failed to catch.
Best area was Cow Moor and best tactics were Sink Tip/DI3/5/7 with Black lures, Hot Head Damsels and Orange blobs.
