Round 2 of the Snowbee Top Rod event 2022 was at Hawkridge, on the edge of the Quantock Hills in Somerset.
Weather after a frosty start was cool and sunny with light variable winds.
Another good turnout with 15 anglers making the trip.
15 anglers caught 56 fish for a bag weight of 140lbs .5oz.
8 anglers caught their 5 fish limit.
Average catch was 3.75.
Average weight was 2lbs 8oz.
Best fish of the day went to Jeremy Summers of Sidmouth - 4lbs.
There were another 11 fish caught between 3-4lbs.
Best tactics were Floating line with a leaded nymph on the point with diawl bachs or buzzers on the droppers.
Fish were caught in all areas of the lake but the Lodge bank proved most productive.
Stuart Robinson of Sidmouth managed to catch and land 2 Pike of 2-3lbs!
