Round 2 of the Snowbee Top Rod Competition was up at Hawkridge near the village of Spaxton, just outside Bridgewater in Somerset.
Hawkridge is 32 acres and set in the Quantock Hills.
There were Swallows and House Martins flying about, Woodpeckers could be heard along with a Peacock in the distance.
13 anglers made the trip and were met by Gary Howe the Ranger for tips and any advice.
Weather was 13 degrees, generally cloudy with a North Westerly wind.
Fish were free rising all day in all areas of the Lake.
Best tactics were Floating line and Diawl bachs, Damsels and Cats Whiskers.
13 anglers caught 47 fish for a bag weight of 136lbs 5oz
Average catch 3.61
Average weight 2.9lbs
Best Fish - Dean Mockridge had 8lbs, 7lbs 6oz and 5lbs 9oz. Alex Venn 7lbs 15oz and Peter Brown 7lbs 5oz.
There were 8 x 5 fish bag limits and 1 angler failed to catch.
