Round 5 of the Snowbee Top Rod Competition was at Kennick today.
Kennick was looking a picture with the Rhododendrons coming out in their full pink colour.
Weather was 15 degs with a moderate NW wind with sunny spells.
10 anglers made the trip and after booking in from 0815-0845, it was walk on from 0900 then fishing from 0930-1630 with the weigh in at 1700.
Fish were caught in all areas of the reservoir and when the sun shone there were 1 or 2 coch y bonddu beetles flying about.
Best tactics were, Floating line with small nymphs and dries or Intermediates and Damsel Flies.
5 anglers caught their 5 fish limit.
10 anglers caught 38 fish for a bag weight 77.5lbs
Average catch 3.8
Average weight 2.04lbs
