Round 1 of the Snowbee Top Rod Competition 2022 was at Kennick on the edge of Dartmoor above the Teign Valley.
We had a great turnout with 16 anglers braving the chilly easterly wind for the bank competition, although the sun was out the temperature was a cool 8 degrees.
16 anglers caught 74 fish for a bag weight of 125lbs 7oz.

14 Anglers caught their 5 Fish Limit.
Best Fish - a real cracker from Paul Wicks of Ashburton - 5lbs 4.5oz pictured below.
Best areas were Oak Tree Point, corner of Clampitts and 2nd Orange Buoy.
Best flies were Damsels, Woolly Buggers, Orange Blobs and Cats Whiskers fished on mainly slow intermediate lines.
