Round 3 of the Snowbee Top Rod competition 2021 was at Clatworthy high up on the Brendon Hills near Wiveliscombe.
Weather was sunny with gentle SE wind and temperature of 20 degrees.
Best fishing was before the heat of the day and fish were caught on Floating lines with small nymphs on the droppers with a hot head on the point. Intermediates also worked with black mini lures.
Clatworthy is currently full and fish were free rising for most of the day.
10 anglers made the trip and caught 24 fish for a bag weight of 62lbs 5oz.
Average catch - 2.4
Average weight - 2lbs 6oz
Best fish of the day were 3lbs 10oz caught by both Alan Riddell and Gerry Scutt.
