Round 9 of the Snowbee Top Rod event was back at Clatworthy Boats in the re arranged bank competition due to low water. Clatworthy is high up on the Brendon Hills near Wiveliscombe.
Forecast for the day was a wet morning followed by sunshine, luckily for us the rain came through on the drive up and by the time we got into the boats at 0930, the rain stopped and the sun came out and was a lovely autumnal day with light variable winds and a temp of 17 degs.
We had not seen Clatworthy so low before and there is an even an old bridge just starting to show which used to run across the reservoir. See photos below.
