Round 10 and final Snowbee Top Rod event of the year was at Wimbleball Lake high up on Exmoor near Brompton Regis.
Despite the very low water conditions we were able to access the boats and once the draw had taken place, everyone tackled up and we were fishing by 0930, due to clock change we fished until 1600 with the weigh in at 1630.
Weather was showery, and when the showers came through they were heavy, there was also some sunshine and many rainbows seen across the water. Wind was mostly southerly with a temperature of 15 degrees.
Wimbleball is so low (approx 20%) and to see the contours and depths of the banks is incredible.
12 anglers made the trip and we struggled to catch many fish!
12 anglers caught just 5 fish for a bag weight of 10lbs 9oz.
