Round 5 of the Snowbee Top Rod Competition was at Kennick today on the edge of Dartmoor near Hennock.
Kennick was looking at its best today with the Rhododendron bushes out in full pink colour and is still full with water flowing over the dam.
Weather was a warm 23 degrees with light variable winds and only a light shower of rain at the end of the day.
Tom Hendy cooked bacon rolls for the 10 anglers who turned up for the competition.
10 anglers caught 18 fish for a bag weight of 32lbs
Average catch - 1.8
Average weight - 1.77lbs
Best fish of the day 2lbs 7oz - Darren Penfold
2 anglers caught their limit of 5 fish and 5 anglers failed to catch.
