Round 7 of the Snowbee Top Rod competition was back at Clatworthy high up in the Brendon Hills near Wiveliscombe.
After a breakfast stop at Brewers Fayre in Exeter 12 anglers made the trip to Clatworthy.
Weather forecast was sunny and warm with temperatures in the mid 20's with light Easterly winds.The level was a few feet lower than our July trip so we needed to be careful at the waters edge not to slip on the mud.
Best tactics were, intermediate lines and Blue Flash Damsels and floating lines with diawl bachs and buzzers.
12 anglers caught 32 fish for a bag weight of 77lbs 9oz
Average catch was 2.6
Average weight was 2.4lbs
2 anglers caught their 5 fish limit and 2 anglers failed to catch.
Best fish of the day went to James Friendship 3lb 8oz and Peter Brown 3lbs.
